ABOUT PATSUNIS

PATSUNIS was started in September of 2021. I have been a lifelong Patriots fan and have an obsession for stats and uniforms, so I decided to marry the two to create my X (formally Twitter) page. Two years after the creation of that page, I have now added this website!

FAQ

• What is your post schedule?  

  • • • • I will post "Last Four Uniform Matchups" the day before a game, the "Uniform Matchup" the day of the game, "Patriots Scorigami" posts at the conclusion of the games, and research related posts in the offseason. New player numbers will be posted as soon as I receive that information.

• Why is the number 21 on all your graphics and posts?  

  • • • • 2021 is the year this website was established, so I have stuck with that number. 

• How often can the Patriots wear their red throwback uniforms?  

  • • • • The NFL only permits teams to wear alternate uniforms three times per season, though the Patriots usually wear their throwbacks twice per season.

• How come the Patriots rarely wear their silver pants?  

  • • • • Unfortunately, that is not something I am able to answer. I truly have no clue as to why we are not wearing them more often. 

• When can the Patriots get new uniforms?  

  • • • • Every primary uniform has to be worn for five years (under Nike's contract) before a rebrand can be made (under most circumstances; the Commanders were an exception as they had two rebrands within three years). The Patriots rebranded in 2020, so the 2025 offseason is the next time any major primary uniform changes can be made.

• What jersey template are the Patriots currently wearing?  

  • • • • As of the 2023 season, the Patriots are wearing Nike's Vapor F.U.S.E. template on all jerseys.

• What years are the throwback uniforms from?  

  • • • • The current throwback uniforms are modeled off of the 1984-1990 uniforms.
