COLOR RUSH

The NFL and Nike started the Color Rush program for Thursday Night Football games in 2015. The 2015 season marked 50 years (1965) since the NFL's first games aired in color. Teams wore unique monochromatic uniforms meant to be noticed on TV to honor this. Mostly worn for major, nationally televised events, the Patriots debuted and wore their Color Rush uniform in 2016 and kept these uniforms in rotation through the 2019 season, wearing these uniforms for high-implication games as well.
